DURHAM, N.C. – The Yale fencing teams will enter the final day of the NCAA Championship with a chance for a top-10 finish. After three days of competition, the Bulldogs sit in 10th place with a score of 49.
It was the women's turn to compete on Saturday, and
Emme Zhou is in contention for the final four in foil. She won 10 of 15 bouts in the first three rounds and is currently in seventh place. The top four finishers after five rounds compete for the NCAA title on Sunday.
Helen Tan is in 22nd place in foil.
Yale's other NCAA qualifier
Sydney Hirsch is in 13th place in saber.
The competition resumes on Sunday at 9 a.m.
