DALLAS, Texas – The Yale men's soccer team fell to No. 22 Southern Methodist University (SMU) 1-0 in a non-conference away game on Monday evening in Dallas, Texas. Fredrik Skilberg netted the game-winner in the 86
th minute for the Mustangs in an evenly matched contest.
With the victory, SMU improves to 5-1-0, while the Bulldogs fall to 1-3 so far this season.

- 3' | Midfielder Max Rogers takes a free kick that hits the right post. A rebound shot is put in the back of the net, but waved off because of an offside call.
- 26' | Yale keeper Chris Edwards makes an incredible foot save to keep the Mustangs off the board.

- First matchup between Yale and SMU since 2009.
- Edwards and Joseph Farouz are both Texas natives.
- Both of TJ Presthus' parents played soccer at SMU. His mother, Melissa was captain of the 1995 team which reached the NCAA Tournament semifinals. His father, Tom also served as captain of the SMU men's soccer team.
- Edwards was outstanding in net, recording four saves.
