NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Marisa Shorrock of the Yale women's soccer team was named to the
College Soccer News National Team of the Week.
This week, Shorrock was also tabbed the Ivy League's Defensive Player of the Week for her performances against Seton Hall and UConn, which was Shorrock's second set of weekly honors, having been named the Ivy Co-Defensive Player of the Week on Aug. 28.
The senior goalkeeper posted another solid week in goal for the Bulldogs leading them to a 2-0 week with wins over Seton Hall and UConn. Her 11-save shutout performance against UConn was also a career-high.
Yale is back on the pitch on Thursday, Sept. 14 at St. John's in Queens, N.Y.
