Bulldogs Fall to UMass on the Road

Box Score AMHERST, Mass. -- The Yale men's soccer team dropped a road game to UMass 3-0 on Monday afternoon at Rudd Field. The Bulldogs fall to 0-2-0, while the Minutemen improve to 2-1-1.

"This is a huge lesson for us today and we need to grow from this quickly and put this loss behind us," said Kylie Stannard, the 5K Corral Head Coach of the Bulldogs. "We knew this was going to be a tough game, as UMass has created a ton of chances in their previous games. Unfortunately, they took their chances well today and we didn't help ourselves in those situations. The first half was pretty good and we had a goal coming, but we also have to be tougher to play against and must be better to limit the chances of our opponents."
