NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale men's tennis team is off to a strong start to the spring season. One day after blanking Fairfield, the Bulldogs made it a perfect weekend with a 6-1 victory over Quinnipiac at the Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center.
The doubles matches were hard fought. At No. 3,
Vignesh Gogineni and
Dylan Tsoi teamed up for a 7-5 victory.
Jim Ji and
Eric Li won 6-2 at No. 2. The Bobcats won in the No. 1 slot in a tiebreaker.
Yale had an easier time in singles. Gogineni, Li, Ji, Tsoi and
Luke Neal all won in straight sets.
