ITHACA, N.Y. – The Yale women's soccer team fell to Cornell, 2-1. The loss puts the Bulldogs at 8-5-1 overall and 2-2-1 in the Ivy League, while the Big Red moved to 3-7-4 overall and 2-3 in the conference.

"Today was a game that we came out flat and a step behind," said
Sarah Martinez, Loring Family Head Coach. "We continue to talk about this league being one where anyone can beat each other and if we don't come ready to play, its going to be really tough to get a result."

- 35' | Just about five minutes later, the Big Red added another one to their total.
- 54' | Andie Miller found Vienna Lundstedt inside the box. Lundstedt spun off the defender and slotted the ball into goal to split the lead.

"We are still in control of our own destiny, and we will begin to prepare for a very good Columbia team back at home," said Martinez. The Bulldogs will return home for their Senior Day on Saturday, Oct. 26 when they host Columbia at Reese Stadium.
