NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale men's and women's basketball programs will host a kick-off event, Bulldog Madness, on Thursday, October 24 at John J. Lee Amphitheater.
 
The doors open at 7:00 pm with the event commencing at 7:30 pm. It is free and open to the public to attend.
 
What to Expect

• Introductions for the 2024 Yale Bulldogs.
• Two five-minute scrimmages – one featuring the women – and the other featuring the men.
• Three-point shooting contest and skills competition open to Yale students.
• One lucky Yale student will have the chance to shoot to win $25,000.
• Garden Catering will be giving away free chicken nuggets for the first 100 Yale student who attend.
• There will be an opportunity for Yale students to win free flights from Avelo Airlines.

 
Both teams kick off the 2024-25 season on Monday, Nov. 4. The women will take on Monmouth at 5 pm., while the men host Quinnipiac at 8 pm.
