NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Yale University men's tennis team recorded victories in all four of its singles matches on day one of the Ivy League ITA Masters Qualifying event.

Singles Results

• Edward Liao claimed a 6-4, 6-4 triumph over Sanjeev Chundu of Penn. He will face Yujiro Onuma of Dartmouth on Saturday.
• Jim Ji collected a 6-1, 6-2 victory over Shaurya Bharadwaj of Penn. Ji will next play Milan Markovits of Princeton.
• Jason Shuler also captured a straight set victory over Lukas Phimvongsa of Brown, 6-1, 6-2. Princeton's Evan Wen is Shuler's next opponent.
• Renaud Lefevre pulled out a three-set victory over Harvard's Masato Perera, 6-1, 4-6, 6-1. Lefevre will play Alan Kam of Princeton in the next round.

Doubles Results

• Ji and Liao lost their opening doubles match to Chundu and Luke Butera of Penn, 8-6.

The Bulldogs return to action for day two of the Ivy League ITA Masters Qualifying on Saturday morning.
