ITHACA, N.Y - The Yale University men's tennis team registered five victories on day two to continue its strong play at the Cornell Invitational. For the second day in a row, the Bulldogs squared off against opponents from Penn State in each match.
Singles Results
- Dylan Tsoi collected a 6-3, 2-6, 6-3 win over David Lindsay.
- Luke Neal earned a three-set triumph over Nolan Ranger, 7-6 (6), 2-6, 6-4.
- Aidan Reilly defeated Sam Bossem, 6-2, 7-6 (7-3).
- Walker Oberg lost to Denys Forgaci, 7-6 (0), 1-6, 6-3.
Doubles Results
- Each of Yale's doubles tandems posted a 1-1 mark on the day.
- Neal and Oberg defeated Ranger and Forgaci, 8-4. They lost to Shrikeshav Murugesan and Alexander Sterin, 8-3
- Reilly and Tsoi earned an 8-6 win over Ranger and Forgaci. However, they were defeated by Lindsay and Reiya Hattori, 8-4.
The Bulldogs return to action for day three of the Cornell Invitational on Sunday.
