COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Yale University women's swimming and diving team finished day one of the Ohio State Invitational in eighth place.
The Bulldogs registered a team score of 207 points, just eight back of Cincinnati and placing ahead of Rutgers and Northwestern.
Key Results
- The 200 freestyle relay of Jessey Li, Ele Donegan, Devyn Sargent and Alex Massey placed 10th in 1:31.43.
- Li was Yale's top individual finisher in both the 200 individual medley and the 50 freestyle. She was 20th in the 200 IM with a time of 2:01.53 and 28th in the 50 freestyle in 28.17.
- The 400 medley relay of Sargent, Li, Massey and Sara Plunkett came in 13th in 3:39.20.
- Lily Horenkamp was Yale's top performer in one-meter diving. She finished 16th with a score of 256.75. Mariana Huang registered a score of 242.75 to place 22nd. Grace Wu was 28th with a score of 227.15.
The Bulldogs return to action tomorrow for day two of the Ohio State Invitational.
