COLUMBUS, Ohio - Nick Finch claimed the top spot in the 100 butterfly as the Yale University men's swimming and diving team continued action at the Ohio State Invitational today.

The Bulldogs finished fourth overall as a team through the final swimming event of the evening.

Key Results

• Finch took first overall in the 100 butterfly with a time of 45.5. Alexander Hazlett notched a 25th place performance in 47.94.
• The 200 medley relay of Lucius Brown, Charlie Egeland, Nick Finch and Deniel Nankov was sixth overall in 1:24.98.
• Jed Jones earned a 16th place showing in the 400 individual medley with a time of 3:50.93. Elliot Lee had a time of 3:53.71 to come in 24th. Konstantinos Zachariadis placed 30th in 4:02.07.
• Noah Millard registered a third place finish in the 200 freestyle (1:32.85). Jose Cano placed 18th (1:38.38) and Nankov was 20th (1:39.30). Finn Henry (1:38.69), swimming in the C final, was 23rd overall. 
• Egeland recorded a ninth place mark in the 100 breaststroke (52.54). Jake Wang was 11th in 52.75 and Alex Deng was one spot behind in 52.97. Hazlett placed 15th (53.24) and Nareg Minassian (54.02) came in 18th. Alex Brehm scored with a 29th place finish (54.82).
• Manoli Mountantonakis had a time of 48.17 in the 100 backstroke to finish 25th. Mak Nurkic Kacapor was 29th in 48.48.
• The 800 freestyle relay of Millard, Jones, Wang and Egeland placed sixth in 6:26.71.

The Bulldogs return to action tomorrow for day two of the Ohio State Invitational.
