NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Six student-athletes from the Yale men's swimming and diving team will take the national stage this week, competing in the NCAA Championships from Mar. 25-28 at the McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
The Bulldogs will be represented by
Noah Millard (500 freestyle, 1650 freestyle),
Nick Finch (50 freestyle, 100 freestyle, 100 butterfly),
Charlie Egeland (relays),
Deniel Nankov (relays),
Jake Wang (relays) and
Mak Nurkic Kacapor (relays). Yale has five relays qualified for the championship: the 200, 400 and 800 freestyle relays, and 200 and 400 medley relays.
Yale will kick off action on Wednesday night with the 200 medley relay followed by the 800 freestyle relay. Competition continues through Saturday with each day starting with prelims at 10 a.m. before the 6 p.m. event finals. All sessions will be featured on ESPN+.

- Millard, a three-time Ivy League champion in the 500 freestyle, captured gold and qualified for the event with a pool-record time of 4:10.19 at the championships. He also earned a spot in the 1650 freestyle in Georgia, finishing second with a time of 14:41.76.
- Last season, Millard earned Honorable Mention All-American honors in the 500 freestyle with a top-10 finish and claimed First Team All-American recognition in the 1650 freestyle with a fourth-place finish.
- Finch delivered historic performances at the league championships, dominating the 50 freestyle with a gold-medal swim of 18.82 seconds—a pool and Ivy League meet record that also tied the team and league records. He followed that with another gold in the 100 butterfly, setting an Ivy League record of 44.34 seconds, and added a silver in the 100 freestyle with a time of 41.84.
- The sophomore had previously earned Honorable Mention All-American honors in the 100 freestyle after finishing 11th last season.
- The Bulldog relays also excelled at the Ivy League Championships. The 200 medley relay captured gold in a record-breaking 1:23.55, setting Ivy League, team, and pool records while securing a berth in the event. The 400 medley relay also earned gold, finishing in an Ivy League record time of 1:16.41. Meanwhile, the 800 freestyle relay (6:13.92 – team record), 200 freestyle relay (1:16.41 – team record), and 400 freestyle relay (2:49.46) each earned silver medals.
