Bulldogs Fall to No. 9 St. Lawrence 2-1

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale women's ice hockey team fell to St. Lawrence 2-1 on Friday evening at Ingalls Rink. Trailing 2-0 midway through the third, the Bulldogs got on the board with a goal by Jordan Ray. Despite a late flurry of shots on goal in the final minute, Yale could not find the equalizer, snapping a two-game win streak. 

With the win, the Saints improved to 9-5-3 overall with a 3-1-1 mark in conference play. The Bulldogs fell to 5-4-1 with a 4-4-1 ECAC record.

  • St. Lawrence extended its win streak over Yale to five.
  • Emma Harvey skated in her 100th collegiate game for the Bulldogs.
  • Ray scored her fourth goal of the season. She is tied for the team-lead with Bargman and Vita Poniatovskaia.
  • Ray also added her 75th career points in just 75 total games.
  • Bargman tallied her fifth assist and team-leading ninth point of the year.
  • DiAntonio leads the Bulldogs in assists, recording her sixth helper of the campaign.
  • Both goaltenders were outstanding. Yale's Pia Dukaric stopped 23 shots, while Norstrom made 37 shots in net for the Saints.
