CHAMPIONSHIP CENTRAL
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – A pair of relays kicked off the 2024 Ivy League Women's Swimming and Diving Championships on Wednesday night at Brown, and Yale had top five finishes in both. The Bulldogs placed fourth in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:38.97 and were fifth in the 800 freestyle relay with a time of 7:16.90.
Princeton was the winner of both relays.
Yale's trio of
Hayden Henderson,
Paige Lai and
Lily Horenkamp claimed the inaugural team diving relay, an exhibition event, with a score of 300.20.
After the first day, the Bulldogs sit in fourth place with 102 points.
The championship continues on Thursday with the prelims at 11 a.m. and the finals at 6 p.m. All the events are streamed on ESPN+.
