SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – The Yale men's tennis team fell to Nebraska 4-1 in the second match on its spring break trip to California.
The doubles matches were hotly contested. The Cornhuskers won 6-3 at No 3. At No 1 doubles, Nebraska's team needed a tiebreaker to win. At No. 2, Yale's duo of
Theo Dean and
Aidan Reilly were headed to a tiebreaker when the match was stopped.
In singles, Dean
posted a 6-3, 6-2 victory at No. 1.
Yale's trip concludes with a match at UCSB on Thursday at 4 p.m. EDT.
