BALTIMORE, Md. -- The Yale baseball team dropped the rubber match of a three-game series with the University of Maryland, Baltimore County on Sunday afternoon at Alumi Field. The Retrievers topped the Bulldogs 16-5 in a shortened game due to the 10-run rule.
With the win, UMBC improved to 4-11, while Yale falls to 2-11.

- Chris DiPrima wrapped up a great offensive series with an RBI. He finished the three-game set with four hits and knocked in five runs.
- Colton Shaw picked up the loss, tossing 3.2 innings while allowing seven earned runs.
- Baracani and Ryan combined for 10 RBIs for UMBC.
