NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale men's tennis team will host the Yale Invitational this weekend on its outdoor courts. Cornell, Penn State, NJIT and Buffalo join the Bulldogs in the field.
The three-day event kicks off on Friday and continues Saturday and Sunday. The action starts at 2 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Yale is coming off a strong performance at the Chowderfest Tournament at Harvard.
Vignesh Gogineni, who was ranked No. 50 in the ITA preseason rankings posted impressive victories over players from Cornell and Harvard in the tournament.
The Bulldogs also got strong play from first years
Edward Liao and
Krish Gupta, who both went undefeated.
