NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Play continued at the Yale Invitational and it was another strong day for the Bulldogs.
Krish Gupta, Renaud Lefevre and
Luke Neal each posted singles victories, while the doubles teams of
Edward Liao and Gupta and Neal and Lefevre split two matches.
Gupta and Lefevre were three-set winners in their singles matches. Gupta edged NJIT's Soma Fukuhara, taking the deciding set 6-4, while Lefevre knocked off Buffalo's Theodoros Mitsakos 6-4, 3-6, 6-4.
The Invitational concludes on Sunday.
