PRINCETON, N.J. - Senior Mia Sessa of the Yale women's golf team has been named the Ivy League Women's Golfer of the Month for September, announced on Thursday, Oct. 2 by the conference.

Sessa captured the Individual title at the Nittany Lion Invitational after carding a 211 (five-under par) over the three round event. Her play helped the Bulldogs finish third as a team overall. In round one, she shot 6-under, followed by an even round, and a 1-over in the final round of play en route to her victory. 

Yale returns to action at the Princeton Invitational from Oct. 4-5 at the Springdale Golf Club in Princeton, N.J.
