NEW HAVEN, Conn. – For the third straight year, the Yale-Princeton field hockey game was decided by one goal. And for the third straight year, it was the Tigers who edged the Bulldogs. No. 8 Princeton topped No. 16 Yale 2-1 on Friday in front of a large crowd on a clear, cool evening at Johnson Field.
Yale falls to 6-2 overall (1-2 Ivy League), while Princeton improves to 6-3 (2-1 Ivy League).
