NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale men's hockey team defeated Brown, 3-1, at Ingalls Rink. With the win, the Bulldogs improved to 3-4-0 overall and 3-3-0 in ECAC Hockey, while the Bears fell to 3-6-0 and 2-4-0 in the conference.
 
Period 1 – Yale 1, Brown 0
14:18 – Zachary Wagnon opened the scoring for Yale at the 14:18 park of the first period. On the powerplay, Ronan O'Donnell found Wagnon camped out on the doorstep.
 
Period 2 – Yale 2, Brown
1:43 – Early into the second, David Chen broke into the offensive zone and ripped a shot from one knee that went top shelf and in.
 
Period 3 – Yale 3, Brown 1
12:05 - After picking up a pair of assists on Yale's first two goals, Ronan O'Donnell tallied one on his. Micah Berger pressured the goalie who came out to play the puck. Berger found O'Donnell breaking on the right side for the finish.

• Jack Stark picked up his first win of the season with a 40-save performance.  
• Ronan O'Donnell picked up his first three-point game of his collegiate career with a goal and two assists.
• David Chen notched his third goal of the season.
