DANBURY, Conn. — After a strong month of November, first year defender Molly Boyle of the Yale women's ice hockey team has been named the ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Month. The conference announced the award on Thursday afternoon.

Boyle had a breakout month, scoring three goals and adding six assists for the Bulldogs. She has been a stabilizing force for Yale as a two-way defender. The first year blueliner scored the game-tying goal in the third period against Colgate on Nov. 1. She ranks sixth on the Bulldogs and fifth among first year defenders in the conference with nine points.

Yale will be back in action at Brown on Saturday, Dec. 6.
