PRINCETON, N.J. – On day three of the 2025 Ivy League Championships, the Yale women's swimming and diving team continued to deliver strong performances, highlighted by a bronze-medal finish by
Alex Massey in the 100-yard butterfly, a silver-medal finish by
Jessey Li in the 100-yard breaststroke, and a bronze-medal finish by the 400-yard medley relay team.
After three days of competition, Yale sits in third place with 669.50 points. Princeton leads with 964 points, followed by Harvard in second with 873.50 points.
Notable Performances
- 100-yard butterfly: After a strong preliminary performance with a time of 52.88 (NCAA DI B Cut), Massey secured bronze in the A final with a time of 52.82 (NCAA DI B Cut).
- 100-yard butterfly: Lilly Derivaux finished seventh in the A final with a time of 53.39.
- 400-yard IM: Eunice Lee had a strong day, finishing the preliminaries with a time of 4:15.93 (NCAA DI B Cut), and then was fifth in the A final with a time of 4:13.84 (NCAA DI B Cut).
- 400-yard IM: Caroline Riggs was fifth in the B final with a time of 4:18.58 and Junseo Kim was sixth in the B final with a time of 4:19.71.
- 200-yard freestyle: Mabel Koff finished fifth in the B final with a time of 1:49.04.
- 100-yard breaststroke: Li secured silver in the A final with a time of 1:00.49 (NCAA DI B Cut).
- 100-yard breaststroke: Devyn Sargent finished fifth the A final with a time of 1:01.81.
- 100-yard backstroke: Quinn Murphy finished sixth in the A final with a time of 53.28 (NCAA DI B Cut).
- 100-yard backstroke: Sargent placed first in the B final with a time of 53.67.
- 400-yard medley relay: The quartet of Murphy, Li, Derivaux, and Massey closed out the day in style, winning bronze in the A final with a time of 3:35.78.
