NEW HAVEN, Conn. – After helping the No. 4 Yale women's lacrosse team to a pair of wins last week, senior midfielder
Fallon Vaughn (Concord, Mass.) has been named Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week. The league announced the award Monday afternoon.
Vaughn, the reigning Ivy League Midfielder of the Year, totaled seven caused turnovers and four ground balls for the week in helping Yale to a pair of 16-6 wins: at Quinnipiac last Tuesday and against UMass Lowell this past Saturday. She also had four goals – including a hat trick against Quinnipiac – along with three draw controls and two assists.
Vaughn is a graduate of Concord-Carlisle High School. She is the second Bulldog to earn Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week this year; senior goalkeeper
