NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Three players who helped the Yale women's lacrosse team to an Ivy League Championship, an Ivy League Tournament Championship and a pair of wins in the NCAA Tournament last year have been named to the Tewaaraton Award Watch List. The Tewaaraton committee announced the selections Thursday. Yale's selections were:
The Tewaaraton Award annually honors the top female college lacrosse player in the United States. The award is also given to the top male college lacrosse player in the United States.
The initial watch list includes 50 players. Boston College and Northwestern tied for the most selections (five). Yale had the most selections of any Ivy League school, followed by Princeton (two) and Penn (one).

This is Collignon's third straight season on the Tewaaraton Watch List. She has already been named Preseason All-America by USA Lacrosse and the ILWomen media (second team from both). Last year she earned All-America honors from the IWLCA (third team) along with ILWomen and USA Lacrosse (honorable mention from both). She tied for the Ivy League lead in goals with 67, the second-best single season total in Yale history. She was a unanimous first team All-Ivy League pick for the second year in a row.
Collignon is a graduate of Hinsdale Central High.

Pascal was named a first team USA Lacrosse Preseason All-America selection earlier this year. Last year she was a third-team All-America selection by the IWLCA. She was also named first team All-Ivy. She was one of the leaders of a Yale defense that ranked third in the nation in scoring defense (8.35). Pascal was also a key part of Yale's clears, and the Bulldogs ranked second nationally in clearing percentage (.945).
Pascal is a graduate of St. Stephens and St. Agnes School.

Vaughn was a first team Preseason All-America selection by USA Lacrosse and the ILWomen media. Last year she earned All-America honors from ILWomen (second team), the IWLCA (second team) and USA Lacrosse (third team). She was named Ivy League Midfielder of the Year, becoming the first Yale player to win one of the Ivy League's major annual awards since
Lauren Taylor '08 was named Ivy League Player of the Year in 2007. She also was a unanimous first team All-Ivy selection.
Vaughn is a graduate of Concord-Carlisle High.

Yale, ranked No. 6 in the USA Lacrosse preseason national poll and No. 8 in the ILWomen media preseason national poll, opens the 2025 season at Reese Stadium against No. 3 Michigan on Saturday, Feb. 15.
