PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Yale men's swimming and diving team closed out its stellar performance at the Ivy Championship on Saturday, earning a total of six medals, with standout gold medal wins by
Noah Millard in the 1650 freestyle, and the 400 yard freestyle relay team.
The Bulldogs capped off four days of incredible swimming with a total of 23 medals and finished third with 1212.5 points. Princeton took first with 1330, and Harvard was in second with 1262.5.
Notable Performances
- 1650 yard freestyle: Millard had a stellar swim, winning gold in the A final with a Ivy meet record, pool record, and NCAA A cut time of 14:34.72.
- 1650 yard freestyle: Arshak Hambardzumyan had a silver-medal finish in the A final with a time of 14:56.65.
- 100 yard freestyle: Deniel Nankov won silver in the A final with a time of 42.52.
- 100 yard freestyle: Nick Finch secured bronze in the A final with a time of 42.63.
- 200 yard breastroke: Charlie Egeland finished eighth in the A final with a time of 1:57.62
- 400 yard freestyle relay: The quartet of Finch, Nankov, Jake Wang, and Millard closed out the championship in a big way, winning the A final with a Ivy League record, pool record, team record and NCAA A standard time of 2:48.74.

The NCAA Championships will take place on Wednesday, Mar. 26 through Saturday, Mar. 29 at Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way, Wash.
