Bryant Black and Gold Meet Weekend Wrapped Up

Andrew Fu (shown here) was one of three Bulldogs in action Saturday.
SMITHFIELD, R.I. — The Yale men's track and field completed another multi-meet weekend at Bryant's Black and Gold Invitational Saturday. On day two of this meet, it was the sprinters who tested themselves in the cold conditions. This wraps up a busy three-day stretch in which the Bulldogs also competed at the Raleigh Relays.

The Meet:
  • Full results can be found here.
  • Sophomore Andrew Fu kicked the day off for the Bulldogs with a PR of 11.01 in the 100 meters, placing fifth overall.
  • First years Camden Hickox and Otis Knapper opened their outdoor seasons in the 200 meters, running 23.08 and 23.79 respectively.
  • Yale tied for 12th with 23 points. Bryant won with 129 points.
Up Next:
  • The Bulldogs head into another busy week with two meets taking place next Saturday: the UConn Dog Fight close to home and the Sam Howell Invitational at Princeton, which figures to provide optimal conditions for some fast times.
