NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The No. 4 Yale women's lacrosse team visits Columbia Saturday at 1:00 p.m. (ESPN+, International Stream, Live Stats). The game marks the start of Ivy League play. Yale is the defending Ivy League Champion and defending Ivy League Tournament Champion.
 
Last Game

• Yale beat Rutgers 12-6 at Reese Stadium last Saturday.
• The Bulldogs limited the Scarlet Knights to 10 shots, their lowest shot total since Mar. 24, 2023.

• Yale has won nine straight games against Ivy League opponents – seven in the regular season and two in the Ivy League Tournament. 
• Yale's last loss to an Ivy League team in the regular season was Apr. 22, 2023 against Cornell (14-12).
• Yale is second in the nation in draw control percentage (.701) and third in the nation in scoring defense (4.80). 
• Yale's five opponents so far this season are 16-3 against other teams, an .842 winning percentage. Only Colorado (.895) and Syracuse (.846) have a better opponents' winning percentage.  
• The Bulldogs' longest active streaks are:
  • Consecutive games with at least one goal, consecutive games with at least one point: senior attacker Jenna Collignon (Hinsdale, Ill.), 23

• Vaughn was named Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week on Monday. This is the second straight week that she has won that award.
• Yale is off to a 5-0 start this season. Last season the Bulldogs started 9-0 before suffering their first loss. That tied for the longest winning streak to start a season in school history – the 1995 team also started 9-0.

• Yale has won four in a row against the Lions, including last season's 18-5 win in New Haven. The last three wins have been by 10 or more goals.
• The Bulldogs have won eight of the last 11 meetings between these two teams.
• Yale is 22-4 all-time against Columbia.

• Columbia (3-2, 0-0 Ivy League) is already one win away from matching last season's win total (four). The Lions are on pace for their first winning season since 2009 (9-7).
