Lane Named Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – After helping the No. 8 Yale women's lacrosse team to a pair of wins last week, senior midfielder Taylor Lane (Norwalk, Conn.) has been named Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week. The league announced the award Monday afternoon.   
 
Lane tied for the team lead with five points (3-2-5) and was second on the team in draw controls (seven) in the 13-10 win vs. then-No. 6 Syracuse Wednesday. She tied for the team lead with six points (3-3-6) in the 12-6 win vs. Dartmouth Sunday. She now has 25 points (14-11-25) and 25 draw controls in the last six games.
 
Lane, who has earned All-Ivy League honors every year of her career, is a graduate of Greenwich Academy.
 
Yale (9-3, 2-2 Ivy League) continues Ivy League play at No. 16 Penn Saturday at 12:00 p.m.
