NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The No. 5 Yale women's lacrosse team had three individuals honored by the IWLCA on Thursday as the organization announced its All-America awards.
- Senior midfielder Fallon Vaughn (Concord, Mass.) was named first team All-America.
- Senior attacker Jenna Collignon (Hinsdale, Ill.) was named second team All-America.
- Senior midfielder Taylor Lane (Norwalk, Conn.) was named third team All-America.
Yale's honorees led the Bulldogs to an Ivy League Tournament championship and a spot in the NCAA Tournament quarterfinals for the second season in a row. The Bulldogs have been ranked as high as No. 4 in the national polls, and they were the No. 7 seed in the NCAA Tournament.
Jenna Collignon
Collignon has earned All-America recognition from three different organizations this year. She was a second-team pick by the IWLCA and USA Lacrosse. She was a third-team pick by the ILWomen media.
Collignon was named to the Tewaaraton Award Watch List earlier this year. She was a third team ILWomen Midseason All-America selection, and was a second team preseason All-America selection by both ILWomen and USA Lacrosse.
Last week Collignon was named first team IWLCA All-Northeast Region, the third All-Northeast Region honor of her career. Last month she earned her third straight unanimous first team All-Ivy selection.
Collignon was third in the Ivy League in goals (67) and fifth in draw controls (91). She had a 38 game goal-scoring and point-scoring streak to end the season.
Last year Collignon was a third team IWLCA All-America pick and earned honorable mention All-America honors from both ILWomen and USA Lacrosse. She earned the team's Bowditch Award as MVP. As a sophomore she was an honorable mention ILWomen All-America selection.
Collignon is Yale's career goals leader (213). She is third on Yale's career points list (236) and second on Yale's career draw controls list (274). She is a graduate of Hinsdale Central High.
Taylor Lane
Lane has earned three All-America selections this season. In addition to being a third-team pick by the IWLCA, she was an honorable mention pick by the ILWomen media and by USA Lacrosse.
Lane earned the first IWLCA All-Northeast Region honor of her career last week, making the first team. She earned All-Ivy honors four times in her career, including first-team recognition this year.
Earlier this month Lane was named the Most Outstanding Player of the Ivy League Tournament, earning a spot on the All-Tournament Team. For each of the past two seasons Lane earned the Yale team's Bulldog Award, presented to the player "who exemplifies consistent passion for the game, is fiercely competitive, and makes their teammates better".
Lane was second on the team in assists (27) and was eighth in the league in draw controls (77). She led the team in shooting percentage (.494) and ground balls (35), was second on the team in draw controls and was third on the team in points (39-27-66).
Lane, who started all 74 games of her Yale career, ranks fifth on Yale's career draw controls list (240). She is a graduate of Greenwich Academy.
Fallon Vaughn
Vaughn, who has been selected to play in the Women's Lacrosse League All-Star Game on July 4, has earned IWLCA All-America recognition in back-to-back years. In addition to being a first-team selection this year, she was a second-team pick last year. She is the first Bulldog to earn first team All-America from the IWLCA since
Lauren Taylor '08 in 2007.
Vaughn has earned All-America honors from multiple other organizations as well. She has been an ILWomen All-American for each of the past two years (second team each year). She was a third team All-America pick by USA Lacrosse in 2024 and a second-team pick this year.
Vaughn earned IWLCA All-Northeast Region honors three times in her career. Her list of honors this year also includes being one of three Tewaaraton Award nominees from the Ivy League. She was fourth in the league in points (50-30-80), was seventh in the league in goals (50) and was seventh in the league in assists (30). She was fourth on the team in draw controls (42).
Vaughn has earned four first team All-Ivy honors, making her the third Bulldog to accomplish that feat and the first since
Lauren Taylor '08. She was the 2024 Ivy League Midfielder of the Year.
Vaughn started all 74 games of her career. She ranks second on Yale's career caused turnovers list (82), third on Yale's career assists list (80), sixth on Yale's career goals list (148) and sixth on Yale's career draw controls list (151). She is a graduate of Concord-Carlisle High.
