NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Eight student-athletes from the Yale women's crew team have been selected to represent their respective countries at the 2025 World Rowing Under 23 Championships in Poznan, Poland, from July 23–27.
Yale's selections include:
Nicole Martinez: Paraguay 1x (Single Sculls)
Anna Keating: Ireland 2x (Double Sculls)
Valia Lykomitrou (Incoming first-year): Greece 2x (Double Sculls)
Imogen Cabot: Great Britain 4- (Four)
Alexa von der Schulenburg: Switzerland 4- (Four)
Stine Hojager Nielsen: Denmark 4- (Four) and 8+ (Eight)
Maeve Heneghan: United States 8+ (Eight)
Ailish Harkin: Great Britain 8+ (Eight)
The event, which attracts up to 1,000 rowers from around the world, will take place at the Lake Malta regatta course, located in the center of Poznan. It is one of the most modern venues in the world and, over the last twenty years, has hosted large international events in water sports, including World Rowing Cups in 2016, 2017, 2019, 2022, and 2024; the European Rowing Championships in 2007, 2015, and 2020; and the World Rowing Championships in 2009.
