VILLANOVA, Pa. -- First-year Ava Poinsett posted a team-high 21 kills and the Bulldogs hit .331 but it wasn't enough on Saturday night.  Yale dropped a five-setter to High Point on night two of the Villanova Classic.  

MATCH SUMMARY:

• The Bulldogs went five sets for the second straight night.  
• Poinsett also hit .447 and added seven digs.
• Three other Bulldogs had at least 10 kills -- Betsy Goodenow (16), Lauren Kellen (11) and Laurece Abraham (10).
• Gabriele Stasys had five kills, hit .571 and had four blocks -- including three blocks on consective points. 
• Isabel Patterson and Arya Jue both had 12 digs. 
• Bethanie Wu followed up her 45-assist, 11-dig effort last night with 48 assists and seven digs against High Point.
• Yale held a slight edge in blocks (7-6) and digs (57-56).
