Bulldogs' Offense Explodes in Win Over RPI

TROY, N.Y. – The Bulldogs' offense exploded for eight goals, while sophomore netminder Noah Pak stopped 28 shots as the Yale men's hockey team rolled to an 8-3 victory over Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). Yale improved to 6-11-0 overall and 5-6-0 in ECAC Hockey, while the Engineers fell to 5-17-0 overall and 2-9-0 in conference play.

  • 7:33 (YAL) – Donovan Frias opened the scoring for the Bulldogs, crashing the net and putting away his own rebound.
  • 12:19 (YAL) – Frias' shot bounced and redirected to Iisai Pesonen, who wristed it through traffic to extend Yale's lead.
  • 18:21 (RPI) – RPI cut the lead to one with just over a minute and a half remaining in the first period.
