Bulldogs Blank No. 12 Colgate For Seventh Straight Victory

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale women's ice hockey team continued its dominant stretch, defeating No. 14/12 Colgate on Friday evening at Ingalls Rink. The No. 11/13-ranked Bulldogs topped the Raiders 3-0 to increase the team's winning streak to seven games. Mariya Rauf, Carina DiAntonio, and Hannah Weyerhaeuser tallied goals, while Samson Frey earned the shutout in net.

With the victory, Yale improved to 15-7 overall with a 10-5 mark in conference play. The Bulldogs currently sit in second in the ECAC Hockey standings with 27 points. Colgate dropped to 12-11-1 overall with a conference record of 7-5-1.

• The Bulldogs swept the regular-season series against the Raiders for the first time since the 2021-22 season. Yale defeated Colgate 5-4 in overtime on the road in the teams' first matchup on Nov. 1.
• Rauf netted her sixth goal of the season. Weyerhaeuser added her seventh.
• DiAntonio scored her team-leading 15th goal of the season. She leads all ECAC players with 12 in-conference goals.
• Ray added her 18th assist of the season. She also sits atop the conference leader board with 13 in-conference assists.
• Levering registered her fifth assist, while McGowan tallied her fourth helper of the year.
• Frey earned the victory and shutout in net for the Bulldogs, stopping a career-high 29 shots. Frey has only allowed four goals in seven games played this season.
