NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Yale Athletics has announced the promotion of
Roxanne Garceau to Assistant Athletic Director for Development.
"Roxanne has made a significant impact on our development team since joining Yale," said
James Frey, Associate Athletic Director for Development. "She brings a thoughtful, strategic approach to her work and has played an important role in strengthening our annual giving efforts. We are excited to see her continue to grow in this expanded role."
In her new position, Garceau will focus on supporting capital projects, assisting with the management of the annual fund and association giving, and providing support for select alumni associations as well as oversight over the associate director of development position.
Garceau joined Yale Athletics in September 2023 as Assistant Director for Development and was promoted to Director of Annual Giving in May 2025. In that role, she led the planning and execution of Yale Athletics' annual giving campaign, overseeing all aspects of the effort, including email and text solicitations, donor challenges, and volunteer engagement. She also managed the annual communications calendar and tracked campaign performance to help guide outreach strategy.
Prior to joining Yale, Garceau served as the Annual Fund Coordinator for the 12th Man Foundation at Texas A&M University, where she assisted with donor solicitations, communications, and events, as well as premium seating operations at venues including Kyle Field.
A 2021 graduate of Gannon University, Garceau was a member of the women's golf program. She earned her master's degree in sport administration from the University of Miami in 2022, where she served as a graduate assistant in development.
