CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Yale men's swimming and diving team wrapped up the final day of competition against Harvard and Princeton on Saturday at Blodgett Pool.
The Bulldogs fell to the No. 22 Tigers, 201.50-151.50, and the Crimson, 181-172.
Yale was highlighted by event victories from
Jake Wang in the 100 backstroke,
Charlie Egeland in the 100 breaststroke,
Kavin Li in the 400 IM, and
Nick Finch in the 100 butterfly.
The Results
- 200-yard Freestyle Relay: The quartet of Nareg Minassian, Deniel Nankov, Lucius Brown, and Mak Nurkic Kacapor finished third with a time of 1:18.65.
- 1000-yard Freestyle: Arshak Hambardzumyan earned third place, touching the wall in 8:59.15.
- 200-yard Freestyle: Lars Kuljus placed fourth with a time of 1:35.71.
- 100-yard Backstroke: Wang captured first place with a winning time of 46.85.
- 100-yard Breaststroke: Egeland claimed victory, finishing in 53.02
- 50-yard Freestyle: Finch recorded a second-place finish in 19.37.
- 400-yard IM: Li won the event with a strong performance, clocking 3:49.11.
- 400-yard Medley Relay: Wang, Egeland, Finch, and Nankov placed second with a time of 3:09.12.
- 3M Dive: Nicholas Chau finished third, scoring 360.06 points.
- 200-yard Medley Relay: Kuljus, Alexander Hazlett, Finch, and Wang earned second place in 1:25.46.
- 100-yard Freestyle: Wang added another second-place finish, posting a time of 43.18.
- 200-yard Breaststroke: Egeland placed second with a time of 1:56.33.
- 500-yard Freestyle: Millard secured second place, finishing in 4:18.15.
- 100-yard Butterfly: Finch won the event with a time of 45.39.
- 200-yard IM: Wang finished second, recording a time of 1:45.19.
- 400-yard Freestyle Relay: Finch, Nankov, Kuljus, and Millard closed the meet with a third-place finish in 2:52.81.
