NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Behind an explosive offense, the Yale men's hockey team rolled to an 8-1 victory over St. Lawrence. Yale improved to 5-10 overall and 4-5 in ECAC Hockey, while the Saints fell to 2-17-2 overall and 1-8 in conference play.
Period 1: Yale 0, St. Lawrence 0
- The first period was scoreless as goaltenders combined for 16 saves.
Period 2: Yale 4, St. Lawrence 1
- 3:45 – Donovan Frias fed a backhand pass to Hudson Miller after a battle in the corner. Miller skated to the right face-off dot and fired a shot that found the back of the net for his first career goal.
- 4:08 – St. Lawrence responded less than a minute later with a game-tying goal.
- 10:36 – Micah Berger stole the puck in Yale's defensive zone, skated the length of the ice, and scored from the top of the circle to give Yale the lead.
- 12:47 – Will Richter extended the lead to two with a shot from the opposite circle, mirroring Berger's goal.
- 17:30 – David Andreychuck left a drop-pass for Rhys Bentham, who buried it late in the period.
Period 3: Yale 8, St. Lawrence 1
- 3:42 – On the power play, Iisai Pesonen cycled the puck around the net and passed to Thomas Molson at the top of the circle. Molson shifted to the faceoff dot and fired a shot into the net for his first career goal.
- 5:57 – Ronan O'Donnell scored two minutes later, wristing a shot past the Saints' netminder after an offensive-zone faceoff.
- 15:54 – O'Donnell scored again on a one-timer from Dylan Hunt for Yale's second power-play goal of the night.
- 17:20 – Molson returned to the scoresheet when Frias passed from the corner, setting up a one-timer into the back of the net.

- The last time the Bulldogs scored eight goals in a game was Jan. 1, 2012, in a 9-3 win over Bentley.
- This was the most goals Yale has scored since netting seven in a 7-5 victory over Boston University on Dec. 29, 2024.
- Yale has won five of the last seven meetings against St. Lawrence dating back to Feb. 4, 2023.
- Twelve of Yale's 19 dressed skaters registered at least one point.
- Hudson Miller scored his first career goal.
- Thomas Molson recorded the first two goals of his collegiate career.
- Donovan Frias had three assists, marking his second multi-point game and second three-point game of his career (first: 1g, 2a vs. Colgate, Nov. 9, 2024).
- Dylan Hunt and Iisai Pesonen each had two assists, recording the first multi-point games of their careers.
