NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Yale field hockey team had 13 student-athletes named to the NFHCA National Academic Squad for the 2026 season. The NFHCA announced the awards on Wednesday.
The National Academic Squad recognizes those student-athletes who have achieved a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 through the first semester of the 2025-26 academic year.
This is the first in a series of annual NFHCA academic awards that will be announced shortly. The NFHCA Scholar of Distinction Awards, recognizing student-athletes who had GPAs of 3.9 or higher through the first semester of the 2025-26 academic year, will be announced Friday. The NFHCA National Academic Team Awards, recognizing teams that had a GPA of 3.50 or better for the fall of 2025, will be announced Feb. 17.
