Yale (3-0, 0-0 Ivy League) jumped out to a speedy 5-0 lead in the game's first 10 minutes, and never led by less than four goals for the remainder of the contest.
Boston University (3-2, 0-0 Patriot League) got 12 saves from goalkeeper Natalie Aiosa.

- After being held scoreless for over 22 minutes during the middle quarter of the frame, the Bulldogs exploded for 10 goals over the final 22 minutes, including five of Holmes' seven.
