Millard, Finch Secure Gold with Record-Setting Performances on Day Two of the Ivy League Championships

PRINCETON, N.J.  – Gold medals from Noah Millard and Nick Finch headlined a strong showing for the Yale men's swimming and diving team, which produced four top-three finishes on the second day of the Ivy League Championships at DeNunzio Pool.

Millard, a three-time Ivy League champion in the 500 Freestyle, set a pool record and NCAA A cut with a time of 4:10.19—the second-fastest in the event's history. Finch captured his second consecutive title in the 50 Freestyle, clocking 18.82 seconds. His time broke the pool record, the longest-standing Ivy League meet record, previously set by Alex Righi in 2009, tied the team and league records, and earned an NCAA A cut.

Yale also earned a silver medal in the 200 Freestyle Relay, setting a new team record (1:16.41), while Jake Wang claimed bronze in the 200 IM with a team-record and NCAA A cut time of 1:42.86.

After two days of competition, the Bulldogs are second behind Princeton (541) with 459.50 points.
