MALIBU, Calif. – The Yale baseball team dropped the second game of a three-game set against Pepperdine on Saturday afternoon in Malibu, Calif. With the game tied 3-3 in the tenth inning, Pepperdine's Daniel Patterson hit a walk-off home run to give the Waves the 4-3 victory.
With the win, Pepperdine improved to 2-7 overall. Yale dropped to 2-3 overall. After the Bulldogs won the series' first game on Friday, the rubber match between the two teams is scheduled for Sunday afternoon.

- Colin Sloan went 2-for-5 with an RBI.
- Despite the loss, Ben Winslow pitched well in relief. He tossed 4.1 innings, allowing two hits while striking out five.
