Pascal Earns ILWomen Preseason All-America Honors

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Senior defender Emmy Pascal (Lorton, Va.), who helped the Yale women's lacrosse team to an Ivy League Tournament Championship and a pair of wins in the NCAA Tournament each of the past two years, has been chosen to ILWomen's Preseason All-America team for 2026. Pascal made the third team. ILWomen announced the honors Monday. 

This is the second preseason All-America honor for Pascal, who was named third team Preseason All-America by USA Lacrosse on Jan. 20.

Last year Pascal was an honorable mention USA Lacrosse All-America selection. She was also a first team IWLCA All-Northeast Region pick and was named second team All-Ivy League. She was named to the Tewaaraton Award Watch List. 
In addition to starting all 20 games for a Yale defense that ranked No. 4 nationally in scoring defense last year, Pascal was also a key part of Yale's clears. The Bulldogs ranked No. 6 nationally in clearing percentage (.936). 

Pascal is a graduate of St. Stephens and St. Agnes School.

Yale is ranked No. 11 in the IWLCA preseason national poll, No. 14 in the ILWomen preseason national poll and No. 15 in the USA Lacrosse preseason national poll. The Bulldogs open the 2026 season at UMass Lowell on Saturday, Feb. 14.
