BOSTON, Mass. – The Yale men's swimming and diving team wrapped up competition at the Boston Winter Invite on Saturday, held at Boston University's FitRec Competition Pool.
The two-day meet saw the Bulldogs secure multiple top-three finishes, highlighted by several event victories:
Henry Webb won both the 200-yard IM and 200-yard Freestyle,
Aedan Conners took first in the 200-yard Backstroke,
Jack Saber captured the 100-yard Breaststroke, and the 400-yard Freestyle Relay team also claimed a win.
The Results
- 500-yard Freestyle: Finn Henry had a strong swim, finishing second with a time of 4:32.90.
- 200-yard IM: Webb won the event in 1:48.04, while Christian Lee finished third in 1:51.09.
- 200-yard Freestyle: Webb earned his second win of the meet with a time of 1:37.91.
- 100-yard Breaststroke: Saber finished first in 54.79.
- 200-yard Medley Relay: The quartet of Conners, Saber, Webb, and Henry placed second in 1:31.34.
- 200-yard Backstroke: Conners won the event in a time of 1:47.84.
- 100-yard Freestyle: Webb placed second with a time of 45.32.
- 200-yard Breaststroke: Saber won the event with a time of 1:59.66.
- 400-yard Medley Relay: The quartet of Conners, Saber, Webb, and Lee touched the wall first at 3:20.95.
- 200-yard Freestyle Relay: The quartet of Webb, Henry, Hammer Massey, and Lee placed second with a time of 1:23.48.
