Bulldogs Come Up Just Short Against No. 3 Stanford

NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- The Yale women's squash team dropped a closely-contested matchup to No. 3 Stanford on Saturday afternoon at Brady Squash Center. The Cardinal topped the Bulldogs 5-4 in the non-conference competition. 

With the win, Stanford improved to 6-2 overall. The Bulldogs dropped to 2-5 overall.

  • Heng Wai Wong won in straight games. She earned her third victory of the season. 
  • Shah and Mehta each triumphed in five games. 
  • Yale's only losses this season have come against opponents ranked in the top-five nationally.

The Bulldogs will compete against No. 6 Trinity on Wednesday, Feb. 11 at home. Yale will celebrate its senior class in a ceremony prior to the match.
