NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Junior Garrett Larsen bunted home Bryce Miller in the 10th inning to lead the Yale baseball team to an extra-innings win over Iona on Wednesday afternoon. The Bulldogs topped the Gaels 7-6 to pick up a non-conference road victory.
With the win, Yale improved to 10-8 overall and 9-6 in non-conference games. Iona dropped to 6-12 overall.
Key Performers
• Senior Davis Hanson went 2-for-2, reaching base three times. He also drove in a pair of runs.
• First-year Nick West earned his first collegiate win, closing out the game with 2.1 scoreless innings.
