PRINCETON, N.J. – The Yale heavyweight crew team completed its weekend of competition on Lake Carnegie at the Princeton Invite. The weekend featured two sessions of races on Saturday and a standalone session against Cal on Sunday morning. 

Saturday Results
On Saturday, the Bulldogs competed in the Princeton Invite, racing against Brown, Cal and Syracuse in the morning session and Stanford by itself in the afternoon.

• The varsity eight finished second in its morning heat, clocking a time of 6:10.93, only 2.84 seconds behind Cal for the lead. 
• The second varsity eight and third varsity eight finished fourth and third in their races, respectively. 
• Each boat finished second in their races against Stanford. However, the varsity eight secured its best time of the day, finishing in 6:03.27.

Sunday Results
On Sunday, the Bulldogs raced against the California Golden Bears in a standalone event. 

• The third varsity eight finished second with a time of 6:06.17.
• The second varsity eight came in second in 6:02.81.
• The varsity eight battled with Cal, but finished three seconds behind the Golden Bears with a time of 5:46.09.

Yale returns to the waters of the Housatonic on April 18, competing against Penn and Columbia for the Blackwell Cup.
