Five Bulldogs Named as CSA Scholar-Athletes

NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- Five members of the Yale men's and women's squash teams were named as College Squash Association (CSA) Scholar-Athlete Award winners.

The Scholar-Athlete Award is given to juniors or seniors, who have earned at least two varsity letters, participated in the majority of the team's matches in the top 10 of the lineup during the season, and achieved a high academic standing at their institution. CSA Scholar-Athletes embody the values of the association – achieving a high level of play on court while excelling in the classroom.

On the men's side, Arav Bhagwati, Tad Carney, and Lachlan Sutton were named as award recipients. Whitney Taylor and Layla Johnson were the Bulldogs' honorees from the women's squad.

Bhagwati, Carney, and Taylor all earned the achievement for the second consecutive year.
