NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The College Squash Association (CSA) has announced its year-end awards, with three Bulldogs earning All-America honors. Senior Tad Carney and sophomore Heng Wai Wong were named to the first team, while junior Lachlan Sutton earned second-team recognition.
Carney earned All-America accolades for the third consecutive year. He was a fixture at the No. 1 position for the men's team, helping the squad reach the CSA Team Championship semifinals. He was named First Team All-Ivy this season and previously earned CSA All-America honors as both a sophomore and junior. Carney was also a finalist for the Skillman Award and a CSA Scholar-Athlete.
Wong represented the Bulldogs on the women's side as the team's lone All-American, earning the honor for the second year in a row. She held the No. 1 position in both of her seasons with the Bulldogs and earned All-Ivy League recognition. Wong also reached the semifinals of the CSA Individual Championship.
Sutton earned second-team All-America honors for the second consecutive season. He was also an All-Ivy League selection and a CSA Scholar-Athlete.
Carney is set to graduate this spring, while Wong and Sutton will return for their junior and senior seasons, respectively.
