PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Yale softball team closed its season series against Penn with a 7-6 loss. The Bulldogs fell to 10-23 overall and 3-9 in the Ivy League, while the Quakers improved to 15-15 overall and 6-3 in conference play.

- T5 – The Bulldogs got one back in the fifth on a bases-loaded infield single from Littleton. (PENN 7, YAL 3)
- T7 – Yale made a late push in its final at-bat. With no outs and two on, Littleton singled up the middle to score a run and make it 7-4. With the bases loaded later in the inning, Isabella Fortini reached on an error, allowing two runs to score and cut the deficit to one. Penn recorded the final two outs to hold off the Bulldogs' comeback attempt.
