NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Two members of the Yale women's track and field team were honored by the Ivy League on Tuesday as the league announced its annual awards for the outdoor season.
Junior
Juliette Kosmont (Monterey, Calif.) was named first team All-Ivy League in the 100m after winning the event at Heps this past weekend with a time of 11.28. Kosmont set the school record and posted the second-fastest time in the event in Ivy League history.
Kosmont is a graduate of Santa Catalina High School.
Senior
Claire Archer (Seattle, Wash.) was named Academic All-Ivy League. Archer, an economics major, ranks eighth all-time at Yale in the 5000m outdoors (16:21.04). She was also named Academic All-Ivy League for this past cross country season and this past indoor track and field season.
Archer was a member of Yale Undergraduate Diversified Investments, Females for Finance and the Yale Women's Athletic Council. She is now working as an investment banking analyst for Citi.
Archer is a graduate of Roosevelt High School.
